I walk our dog about 3 1/2 miles per day and I go through tennis shoes like crazy. Sometimes I find that my preferred style is no longer available, so when I purchase a new pair I normally purchase a backup pair to keep on hand. I love Sketcher shoes, but wish they would stop changing the style/name so I can always know I am buying the same shoe.

These shoes were okay, but not my favorite. After a knee injury, I was less concerned with how my shoes looked and more concerned with comfort and support. I bought these shoes because they looked supportive but were more formal than the athletic shoes I had to wear a lot of the time.

These were somewhat clunky and had a boot-like feeling to them. The elastic cuff at the base of the ankle was helpful to keep the shoe in place, but I still used thicker socks than usual because of some slippage at the heel. They made my feet look somewhat large, but they served their purpose at the time. My best day of use was when we had a rare snowstorm in North Carolina, and these shoes were good protection when I had to walk through snow to get to a night class.

All in all, the shoes were a good choice when I was recovering from the knee injury. But now that I can choose from a wider range of shoes, I won't be buying these again.

At first I thought they felt a little weird and stiff. Then I remembered it takes a minute for the canvas to soften up. Then I noticed the shoe tongue is one piece of elastic. Nice. It won't slip down like typical shoes. The laces are round instead of flat, but you can easily go lace-free if you want. The soles are thick, but not chunky. The stitching and seams are perfect and no visible glue. The added bonus is that these are made from sustainable resources. Thumbs up.

Cute shoe and feel comfortable for the most part. The heal area takes a while to break in but once that happens I think they'll be good. I do think they fit a little narrow in the toe box

Very cute shoes! I love that they look like bowling shoes )but not so much that they're geeky). SO comfortable! I have really bad bunions which these shoes accommodate nicely. Can wear them all day with no irritation. Love them so much I bought the blue pair too!
